We took our last "stuff" trip to NC this past weekend to our "old" house and to finish up cleaning! We had planned on going back a few weekends before, but it snowed twice in NC the weekends we were planning on going back! It was a "business" trip, we left on Thursday after Jody was done with work (around 5pm), got stuck in a mess of traffic from a runaway Zebra on the highway to numerous accidents, road construction and just regular Atlanta traffic! We finally arrived a little before 2am Friday morning, woke up a few hours later picked up the trailer, carpet cleaner and cleaned, spackled, sanded, washed, dusted, scrubbed, mopped, loaded and swept all day! We had dinner at my parents house then early bedtime at my brother and sister-in-laws house in Garner. Up and back to the "old" house to finish up Saturday morning! We finished around 12:45 returned the carpet shampooer, grabbed lunch from McDonald's and the girls and off to Georgia we went...9 hours later (more accidents, road construction and regular Atlanta traffic) we arrived home around 10:30pm Saturday evening! We wished we would have been able to visit and spend time visiting all our family and friends in NC, hopefully our next trip! We did run into some friends while in Wake Forest and thanks to everyone who stopped by after seeing the burb in the driveway, what great surprises seeing everyone :) We sure do miss all our NC folks!!!

So glad that you made it back to grab all your stuff- I know it has to be relieving just to have all your possessions in the same place! Sorry that we didn't even know you were here until you were back in Atlanta- Would've loved to stop in and see you!
