WELCOME to our blog! Our family began in August of 2000 when Jody and I were married and has grown into a family of 6! We have 3 beautiful daughters and 1 handsome son! This blog was created in January of 2006 for our family and friends and to serve as a scrapbook for our kiddos in the years to come! Jody is the youth minister at our church and I am a stay at home mom! Whole bunch of firsts :)

Yesterday our FIRST born started her FIRST day of FIRST grade! It was also her FIRST day going to public school...we decided last year we would take one year at a time, last year she was homeschooled for Kindergarten... It was a really hard decision but we decided this year she would go to Brassfield Elementary School! We feel this is the best decision for Emma as well as our family :)

She was so excited and could have cared less about Jody and I when we left, she barely said "bye"!

Look at that big girl! So proud of Emma! And you know something neat: I went to Brassfield Elementary School! We were actually the ones who chose the school colors of blue and yellow, and the mascot "Brassy Bear!" I was in third grade when the school opened:)
