WELCOME to our blog! Our family began in August of 2000 when Jody and I were married and has grown into a family of 6! We have 3 beautiful daughters and 1 handsome son! This blog was created in January of 2006 for our family and friends and to serve as a scrapbook for our kiddos in the years to come! Jody is the youth minister at our church and I am a stay at home mom! 3 days

Today I'm asking for PEOPLE...please pray for all the PEOPLE we will come in contact with on our journey, whether it be in the airport, on a taxi, people we meet on the street in El Salvador, children we visit, people we are able to minister to, or even people we can share our trip with when we get back!  We are called to be examples, please pray that all these different things we will experience, we will be able to show God through every aspect!  As one of my new favorite songs says "put your love glasses on"-see people through God's eyes, be compassionate and soften the hearts of the PEOPLE so we can share God's love with them!

I pray that God goes before you and prepares the hearts and minds of all those you will encounter. I pray for good health, safe travels and that this experience will fill all your heats as well with the goodness of God. I am so excited that you are getting to go on this mission trip with Jody. I know you will be forever changed and blessed. I am so proud of both of you as you step out on this journey together. Love to you both.
