Today we celebrate one...

of the most exciting days for us as Christians:
HE IS RISEN!
Jesus came to earth as a tiny helpless baby, born to teenage parents.
Lived a sinless life here on earth among us humans for 33 years.
He took upon all sin for all people, suffered and died a horrible death.
But the story doesn't end there, He rose from the dead on the third day!!!
Take a moment to reflect on these facts...think about the story of Jesus, if it was during our lifetime, a current world event, does it change your prespective?
Jody and I work with teeenagers on a daily basis, most young people have the mentality that they are invincible, unstoppable and nothing can touch them.
Is that you?
Do you feel like you have all the time in the world to get things figured out, straightened out or cleaned up?
Do you have hope for tomorrow, for eternity?
Reality is there is no hope without Jesus, no hope for eternity or even tomorrow.
With Jesus we can have hope!
He created YOU!
He loves YOU!
He created you to be perfect like Him, but sin gets in the way. One teeny, tiny sin separates us from one Holy and Righteous God. God cannot allow sin into His presence or Heaven, so we need forgiveness and repentance (turning away) from our sin. Only Jesus can offer us that forgiveness and hope. The alternative is eternity in agony and punishment, no hope, no love, nothing...
What are you celebrating this Easter, a bunny or Jesus?
