Ok, Pam got me. . .I've been tagged and I have to write 8 things about myself. I have no idea when I was tagged? Here goes. . .
1. I have to eat even numbers of candies at the same time and they have to be the same color. For example a bag of skittles...If I dump out 3 purples, 1 green, 1 yellow I'll put back the green, yellow & 1 purple and then eat 2 of the purples. The only way I get out of this is when I get to the bottom of the bag and there aren't anymore. I always save the red ones for last. . .they are the best!
2. I don't like to stay at home much. I like to be out and about doing "stuff". Don't ask me what I do but usually I'm gone somewhere doing something.
3. I have a NIKE swoosh scar on my right ankle, a result of a nasty run-in with a pink ten-speed and a metal shed! My first stitches and tetanus shot. I remember seeing all the blood and inside stuff (including my ankle bone)I fell to the ground yelling for my mom! I wouldn't walk so I dragged my foot all the way from the backyard to the house (we only had 1 acre of land), such drama!
4. I am a simple cooker. I only cook meals with very little prep or very easy to do. I tended to leave out ingredients in my younger days, so the simpler the better. Sandra Lee has a great show on Food Network that does great at simplifying recipes and making them look fabulous!
5. I absolutely love "rap" music (Christian of course). Anything with a beat that you can dance too. My girls love it too! When any music comes on they get dancin', even little Lizzy has a bounce she does to show she can dance too!
6. I absolutely love cats but am so allergic. Usually when a cat comes in the room I start sneezing :-( Growing up we had "Misty". When the doctors told me I was allergic and she was the source of a lot of my allergy problems I told my mom to just keep her out of my room and we did. She died after I was gone and married. What a great cat.
7. I don't like to talk on the phone. Occassionally I'll talk to someone for a lengthy amount of time but mostly I like to get on, do business and get off.
8. I am a list maker. I make lists and subdivide them. My mom does it too so I know where I get it from. Jody commonly finds lists that have been numberedand re-numbered in order of importance or starred in importance.

I loved the facts about you! You cracked me up about the skittles. We could never share a bag as red and purple are my favorites too. Andy always gets stuck with the yellow and green.
I'm all about simple recipes too so pass along your favorites!! :)
I enjoy being out and about as well~ now we just have to find cheap things to do! I'll let you know about library dates. Can't wait!
