Busy week

Phew. . .last week was a busy one. We began the week (Sunday) with Jody at home throwing up :-( The girls and I went to church as usual and I vowed to never go to church again by myself! Anna and Lizzy got sick with bad colds Tuesday (which they are still not over). I took both Anna and Lizzy to their doctor appointments Thursday. Anna weighed in at 22lbs 2 oz and Lizzy was 10lbs 4oz. Both girls are doing well, except Lizzy had an ear infection when I took her. Next month Emma goes for her 4 year check-up! Can you believe it? We can't either. . .

Happy New Year!

We hope the new year has been good so far for all of you! We loved receiving all your Christmas/New Year cards and seeing all your pictures! It seems like time flies when we see pictures of all the kids! We just received another one today in the mail from our good friends Matthew, Laura & Lindsey Hart who are now in Delaware! We would love to hear from you during the year and see pictures of you (the adults too). And see what's going on with your families! Send us an email or a comment and let us know!

Almost a month??

I just realized it's been close to a month since I've blogged. . .sorry. We've been quite busy with the Holidays as we know all of you have been. Here's what we've been up to. . .

Sunday December 17th...Youth and Christmas Play at church. This year we performed a musical, we had tons of volunteers to help create this amazing production! There were 38 children in the musical this year, the most we've had yet! We had a great time and the kids did a great job, but boy are we glad it's over! Emma was a perfect angel this year. . .in the play that is :-)
We followed tradition and spent Christmas Eve with my parents, brothers and sister-in-law in Garner. My parents always cook a "fancy" dinner and we use my mom's China and good Silver (which I hope to inherit one day). Then, let the games begin. . .we start opening the presents that have literally taken over the living room!

Emma and Anna had a blast opening all the presents and we had a good time watching them! Of course we all received lots of nice things in which we are really grateful for!

We spent Christmas morning at home with the girls. We miss seeing all of our other family, but we want our girls to remember being at home with dad, mom and their sisters on Christmas morning. That afternoon we went to my grandparents house to eat lunch at their new home. My grandparents love Christmas, decorate the entire house and have the tables set when we all arrive. It's a good time being able to eat a nice sit down dinner with the family (all 25 of us, minus 2 of my dad's brothers and their families). After opening presents from the rest of the family we sat down to a friendly game of BINGO. My dad received an old BINGO wheel and board a while back and he is the only one that can call out the letter & numbers! None of us could figure out where we got our competitive nature from, but we quickly realized the culprit, she's just under 5 feet tall, curly brown hair and goes by the name Grandma, she blew us all away with her wins! We had a great time!
We had a great Christmas as we hope all of you did. We have tons of pictures too, I'll try to get them on here in the next few days!
